Did you know that in just a month Shared Parental Leave and Pay will be available for the partner of a child’s mother or adoptive parent?
The basics of maternity and adoption leave and pay will not change but a mother or adoptive parent will be able to end such leave early and transfer it to their partner. Currently such leave is for 52 weeks and payment is for a period of 39 weeks in total. The mother must take at least two weeks of this.
